Wait staff was cool. They did their job promptly and accurately, and didn't do that annoying thing where they're too friendly for tips.
Good food. Moderate prices. A little small, a little cramped, and a little loud.
I enjoyed myself. Maybe not the best place for an intimate date though...
I tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was much better than I had anticipated. Not that I thought it would be bad, it was just that good!
Nice place. A little noisy with the music. I had fish and chips. It was tilapia. For the price should have been cod. Chilly by the window too!
I keep wanting my next experience to wow me, but it doesn't. I'm rooting for them, but there is too much competition to not go elsewhere. It's an average dining experience with higher than average prices
But I'd go back.
My first time there. Loud as heck if you end up under one of the speakers, super cold in the front with the door being opened constantly and not able to shut all the way on its own. The food was ok, definitely not worth the price though ($36-40 for a steak with no sides). My dad ordered the prime rib medium rare, it came out medium to medium well (no pink). Everyone else was content with their meals. Again, content was not worth the price. Server was a delight, staff genuinely cared. That was nice!
I have had some good food here before. The past couple of times the food didn’t impress me. The ramen was served cold, and it said it was served in pork broth. The broth tasted like tea. It had no hint of pork whatsoever. The calamari was also very hard and chewy. It is disappointing because it is a nice place with nice staff.
