Make sure you save your receipt if you shop at this bridal boutique! I was recently recommending places to shop for a dress to a few friends and this was on my list of places to NOT go to. I know I've left a review in the past but it's been deleted since then and thought I would save others their time and money by re-posting. Save your receipt! Not sure who does their bookeeping but I got harassed a FULL YEAR AND A HALF after purchasing my dress from the owner. He called me on my cell phone saying I had never paid for the dress and then continued to call, email, call etc! The receipt I was given was literally a 1 inch square and thank God I found it after searching. My dress was around $2,000 and to this day I can't believe how awfully I was treated by the owner. No matter where you shop don't let what is supposed to be the honeymoon phase of your marriage be tainted with harnessing threatening phone calls!
This is the absolutely worst wedding shop you can deal with. Please go somewhere else with your money and save yourself all of the trouble and stress. My best friend ordered her dress through Lynette, and it has been a mess ever since. Lynette did not provide her with any updates on her dress as to when it will arrive or where it is currently at. She is almost impossible to reach. The shop is always closed every time we try to go there. When she finally received her dress, it was a size 8 instead of a 12, had makeup on the inside of the dress, and a button was missing. The seamstress cannot bring it to a size 12. Lynette said she would meet us at noon so we can listen to her call the bridal store back and let them know of our situation and see if we can get an expedite on a size 12. She did not show up for this, of course. We still haven't heard from her, but she will be requesting for all of her money back and going somewhere else. We have now found out that she sold her the sample dress from the store and said it was the dress she ordered and made her wait 4 months for.
This place is a must for a bride looking for her dress!. I was just messing around and did a style profile pretty late at night when I was looking at stores to make appointments at. About 5 minutes after submitting I got a text from someone saying Eryn would call me the following day! She did and was able to get me in the day after that!! Though she's not there anymore she was great... I was a little nervous when she told me she was leaving because I still had to come back to pick up my veil...
If you are looking for more than a wedding dress and a complete bridal experience I would highly recommend going to Le Salon Boutique in Valparaiso, IN. The boutique is unique as there aren't mirrors in your room and you get to see the dress for the first time when your entourage does. The staff was incredibly great. They were so kind to squeeze me into an appointment an hour before they opened! Eryn is super helpful and has your vision as the top priority (no just a sale). I really could go on and on about how helpful and patient she was! Sarah was also amazing, before I even got to my car I had an email from her with all the information I needed! I am so thankful that we found this Boutique and my perfect dress that truly was love at first sight!
I had the greatest experience at Le Salon!! I went in with my maid of honor just to try on to get an idea of what style of dress I wanted, little did I know I'd buy one THAT day off the rack with their help!! I tried on several dresses but hadn't found 'the dress'. Eryn kept pulling dresses and giving me wonderful recommendations, and helped me figure out what worked and what didn't. She gave me the opportunity to look at dresses on my own in the beginning and I remembered seeing this amazing fabulous dress, tried it on, and it was the dress!! Everyone there was super supportive and celebrated with me when I chose my dress! Thanks so much again Le Salon!!
Her wedding is in June, so you can imagine the stress she is now under trying to find this dress somewhere else. You can't reach anyone at Le Salon to complain about Lynette, and you most definitely will have a hard time reaching her. Like I said, please go somewhere else. It is not worth the trouble.
I feel like everyone there is one big family because everyone that works there is really nice and has your best interest as their vision. Daria has been helping me with accessories ect and I absolutely love her too!!! Her service and her communication is excellent, even if it's through an email or phone call, I sometimes feel like I'm her only priority as far as a customer. I would say this is a win win for any bride looking for a dress-the have so many dresses, dresses to order, dresses to take home that day and they're very accommodating to what your needs are!! I can't rave enough about this place, just go here first before anywhere else!!! Just go see Daria!! I promise you'll never look elsewhere and If you do, I bet you'll be back!!!
