I absolutely don't think you can have a better experience from a dealership then the one I had with Team Chevy. I seen a used truck online and emailed them about it. Within no time they called back and I was talking with their salesman Eric. He was straight to the point with no b.s I live in Chicago so, Eric went the extra step and did as much as he can over text messages for me to see what the numbers would be for my current payoff, ballpark trade in with pictures I sent him of my vehicle since he couldn't physically see it at the moment etc. Well, drove out there and bought it. Even Nathan who did the financing for me at the end made the deal as comfortable as I could ever hope for. Overall experience was awesome. See Eric and Nathan. That afternoon, I come to pick up my car, and Guy tells me it’s $55 for the brake light! I’ve had brake lights replaced for $4 at Oil N Go. When I complained, Guy said “Our mechanic bills for what he does. That’s how he feeds his family.” That’s about the sickest, lamest excuse I’ve ever heard. Guy couldn’t even look me in the eye. He removed the $7 grease charge and I paid $48.57, because I don’t want to be harassed over it. What a greedy, nasty business. I’ll never go there again.
Great experience! Although I made it very hard on him, my salesman never gave up. Eric went above and beyond what you would expect. I was basically able to make my car purchase over the phone. No haggling back and forth. He knew what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. When I arrived at the dealership all paperwork was complete. All I had to do was sign some papers and I was on my way. This was my second vehicle purchased here and there will definitely be a third.
I drove from Michigan City, to Team Chevy. Boy am I glad I did! Donna was the most down to earth saleswoman I have ever dealt with in my life! She made my experience GREAT! Even after a busy event they held that day, everyone still had smiles on their faces and were amazing. Jimmy and Donna made my first time buying a car of my own a very pleasant memorable experience! Donna even sent me a text welcoming me to the TEAM FAMILY! I truly felt like I was around family the entire time I was there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! #teamchevy
Short Version: I gave them $1,000 in warranty work, and they charged me $50 to change a brake light bulb!
Detailed Version: Team Chevrolet of Valpo has sent me postcard advertisements about a recall out on my vehicle. I called them, found out there’s two active recalls on my vehicle, and scheduled an appointment. The day before the appointment I discovered a brake light out. Dropping off the vehicle, I told Guy (the service tech) about the bulb and asked them to change it. Guy: “Is anything wrong with it?” Me: “No. I just replaced the whole housing this summer.” Guy: “Ok we can do that.” End of conversation.
We were here for an oil change, the service people were really good. Love the salesman David. We had great service here would recommend it to anyone.
