My wife and I were impressed with Blue Point. We had the Mahi-Mahi and Bluegill, they were great. For desert we had the pineapple upside down cake and it was the best I have had.

I really like the food but the main reason why we come here is for the service. We always ask for Megan and she does such a fantastic job! If everywhere had this great of service it'd be a lot harder to pick a place. Highly recommend.
Food was ok. I wasn't sure whether to trust the previous review on the sushi so I ordered a roll as an appetizer.....the other review was correct. Sushi was not good. The roll had soooo much rice and barely any fish. Unevenly cut pieces and bland in flavor (and all this from one of the more expensive rolls on the menu). The sushi seemed as if it was made by someone at home in their kitchen rather than by a place that has "Sushi Bar" in the name of the restaurant. Chicago sushi pricing but not good quality....def do not recommend. The rest of the food was ok. Some of the seafood was a bit overcooked and a tad chewy though. Best thing I had was one of the hush puppies (awesome). Service was good but overall I'd say the place is a bit overpriced for what it is.

What? That's the only thing. And to be honest I think it's going to just get better due to the passion they have to constantly improve. This place is really close to a five star and is easy to love.
