Thought my son and I could spend a couple hours on the weekend here. Was left with lack-luster service from start to finish. We get there and walk in..stand there for about 10 min before anyone is by the desk or offers to help us. Its a very small, two-room space. One room had a party going on, the other was open. We finally ask a woman "who's in charge ?" and she points us towards the birthday room to a woman. She acts like i should know what to do, even though I state we've never been there. She proceeds to give us very basic instructions, shows us the paint chart and that was about it. We ended up asking other painters what to do. The price is OUTRAGEOUS! its states on the website that things range from $3-70+. More like a little tea cup, the size of the palm of your hand, was $20 and a coffee mug right cost around that price too!! So expect to pay at lest $50 for two basic cups. I decided to pay it since we had already driven out there and my son was excited. From there, everyone in the entire building is expected to take turns using two hair dryers to dry and re-dry your pottery. it was ridiculous. So finally we finish, we go to desk and ask "now what?' They say leave them on the table, we will get them later.' Im nervous about doing this because kids are walking around touching things and I believe I saw a cat at one point, walking around?! I pay, and pay extra for them to ship, so i dont have to make a 45 min trip back out a week later to get it. I live about 3 town out from where this place is. (they don't fire it there, so don't expect it to come home that day) NOW, fast forward 11 days later...Still havent gotten the two tiny cups in the mail. I call. I tell the girl that I came in 11 days ago and paid to have them shipped, the girl, back then, told me they should go out in mail by the following Monday or Tuesday. ( we were there Saturday, Feb 3d). They tell me on the phone, that no, it actually didnt go out then, but she saw it packed in a package ready to go out, so it probably shipped. Still don't get it on the 14th. I call again. This time the "owner" gives me some ridiculous excuse that it takes her at least a week to fire and then another few days to pack and send. She tells me she actually didnt even send it out until the evening after my first call! I didnt end up getting my cups until the 16th! When they arrived the tea cup was shattered....Seriously? DONT BOTHER with this place. There are way better ways to spend your time!
This place is fun, our while family digs it!!!
Excellent selection of ceramics to decorate, as well as unique comes colors and finishes. Plus, cats!
